La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu wa huwa hayyun la yamutu, biyadihil khayru wa huwa ala kulli shay'in qadir
There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the One, there is no partner with Him. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is Ever-Living and does not die. In His hand is all good, and He is over all things capable.
اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کے لیے بادشاہت ہے اور اسی کے لیے تمام تعریفیں ہیں، وہ زندہ کرتا ہے اور مارتا ہے، اور وہ زندہ ہے جو کبھی نہیں مرے گا، اس کے ہاتھ میں تمام بھلائی ہے، اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے
Kalima Tawheed is the most comprehensive declaration of Allah's absolute Oneness. It affirms Tawheed in four dimensions: Tawheed of Lordship (He alone has dominion), Tawheed of Worship (He alone deserves praise and worship), Tawheed of Names and Attributes (He is Ever-Living, All-Powerful), and Tawheed of Providence (all good comes from His hand alone). "Tawheed" means unity - the unifying principle of all Islamic belief.
The Prophet ﷺ said whoever recites this with sincerity ten times a day receives reward as if freeing four slaves from the children of Ismail (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim). Reciting it after Fajr and Maghrib ensures Paradise.
