Ashhadu alla ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh
I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the One, there is no partner with Him. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمد ﷺ اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں
Kalima Shahadat combines the testimony of Tawheed (Oneness of Allah) and Risalah (Prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ). It is recited in the Adhan (call to prayer), in the Tashahhud during every salah, and is the declaration made when embracing Islam. The word "Shahadat" means testimony - you are bearing witness before Allah and the creation.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever testifies that there is no god but Allah alone without partner and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger will enter Paradise." (Sahih Muslim). This testimony is the second half of the declaration of faith.
From the Tashahhud recited in salah (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim). Also recited in the Adhan and Iqamah for every prayer.
